How to pay in Bitcoin

How to Pay via Bitcoin or Lightning (Don't worry, it's not as hard as you think!)

We now accept Bitcoin for bookings! Because our system treats these like cash or phone payments, you’ll need to give us a call to finalize your reservation and receive your unique payment address. Unfortunately, this means this method is currently unavailable after hours.

Step 1: Set Up Your Wallet

If you don’t already have Bitcoin, we recommend using one of these two apps. They are the easiest for beginners and allow you to buy and send Bitcoin in minutes.

Option A: Cash App (Recommended for Lightning)

Fastest method with the lowest fees.

1. Download: Get Cash App from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Verify: Tap the Profile icon and follow the steps to verify your identity (required for Bitcoin).

3. Add Cash: Link your bank or debit card and add the amount you need for your booking.

4. Buy Bitcoin: Tap the Money ($) tab > Bitcoin > Buy.

Option B: PayPal

Great if you already have a PayPal account. While PayPal is very easy to use, it currently only supports standard Bitcoin transfers (which can take 10–20 minutes to confirm).

1. Open PayPal: Go to the Finances or Crypto tab.

2. Buy Bitcoin: Select Bitcoin and tap Buy.

Step 2: Call Us to Book

Once your wallet is funded, call Lauren at (719) 996-0178

What happens on the call:

• We will confirm your booking details and the total amount in USD, including your 20% discount.

• We will provide you with a Bitcoin Address (a long string of random letters/numbers) or a Lightning Invoice.

• We can stay on the line with you while you send the payment to ensure everything goes smoothly!

Step 3: How to Send the Payment

Once we give you the payment details over the phone (or via email/text during our call), follow these steps:

If using Cash App (Lightning - Instant):

1. Tap the Money ($) tab in Cash App and select Bitcoin.

2. Tap the Arrows (Send) button and select Send Bitcoin.

3. Enter the amount we provided.

4. Paste the Lightning Address we sent you.

5. Select Lightning Network for instant delivery.

If using PayPal (Standard - 10-20 mins):

1. Go to the Finances tab and tap your Bitcoin balance.

2. Tap the Transfer Arrows and select Send.

3. Paste the Bitcoin Address we provided.

4. Enter the amount and tap Send Now.

💡 Important Tips for First-Timers

• Accuracy is Key: Bitcoin addresses are long and complex. Never type them by hand. Always use the Copy/Paste feature or scan the QR Code.

• Irreversible: Unlike a credit card, Bitcoin payments cannot be "charged back." Once you hit send, the money is on its way!

• Confirmations: If you use the standard Bitcoin method (not Lightning), it may take a few minutes for our system to show "Paid." Don't worry—this is normal!
